On Wednesday, 14th May, 5th and 6th Class sang their hearts out as they gave a wonderful send off to Gemma in the Raheny Community Nursing Unit as she prepares to retire. For the past 7/8 years Gemma has helped us to build a great relationship with our neighbours. We have enjoyed meeting the residents over the years and have especially enjoyed joining them for carols each Christmas.
As the sun shone, we sang for Gemma for the last time yesterday. However, she has assured us that her successor will be just as keen to keep in with the neighbours.
We wish Gemma the very best for a restful, happy retirement and thank her for her hospitality over the last number of years.
