Things are already starting to get busy in Springdale. 5th Class have kicked off the year with the ‘Cycle Right’ programme with Colm & Tony. This great initiative, which is funded by the Department of Transport, the Road Safety Authority and An Taisce Green Schools, consists of six lessons of 80 minutes each. During this week’s lesson, they checked their helmets and bikes and are all set for cycling practice next week. Over the next 5 weeks they will learn new skills on their bikes in the yard and might even get out on the road for the final session.
