This week was Maths Week. On Monday, 5th class taught other classes in the school about different aspects of maths. They held a workshop in the hall and took it in turns to lead different stations.
It was a great way to build an excitement for Maths week.
Some of the activities included logical thinking, problem solving and sequencing. The 5th class leaders gave stickers to the pupils who completed each task.
Alex from 5th class described the day as “interactive and fun”.
Seán from 5th class described the day as “amazing and encouraging”
Evan from 3rd class described the day as “a good time with lots of fun puzzle to do”
Many thanks to Ms. Kenny and Ms. Quinn for all their work in helping to prepare and run the day.
