On Wednesday 22nd November Jack Staines, a former pupil, joined us for assembly. There were gasps of amazement when he removed his hat to reveal his newly dyed purple hair! Jack dyed his hair as part of the Shave or Dye Campaign in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. On Wednesday we presented him with €408 which we collected on Mad Hair Day in October to include in his fundraising. Thank you Jack for showing off your locks in assembly and well done to all who supported Mad Hair Day.
