This year our school will be working towards the ‘Water Flag’. In order to get this flag we are going to have to start conserving water. We hope we can work together towards this flag, Springdale’s next big challenge.

The Green Schools Committee has thought of a few ways in which we can save water:

  • Use the half flush option if you don’t need a full one.
  • Do not run the tap for too long while washing your hands.
  • Try to reduce the number of cups of tea/coffee you have during the day (This was written for the staff in particular!!).
  • Use the water collected in the water butt when watering plants or cleaning paths/driveways.
