We enjoyed a tree planting ceremony led by 6th Class in the sunshine this morning.
As they prepare to head off to secondary school, they took time out to present us with three apple trees for the school garden.
The 4th apple tree planted today was grown from seed a number of years ago for Mrs. Crawte by Noah who graduated from Springdale last year. Mrs. Crawte has carefully tended to this tree at home and thought it would be fitting to include it in our new ‘apple orchard’.
We are looking forward to many years of delicious apples from our new trees and hope 6th Class will drop by to have a taste! Thank you 6th Class.
