Well done to everybody who participated in Cumann na mBunscol Santry Sports this week. There was great excitement when three of our Springdalers managed to secure medals and our U14 boys’ relay team made it to the final. We had a gold medal in the high jump and 600m race and a silver in the shot putt. Congratulations to Sam, Sophia and Hughie.
6th Class remembered their classmate, April, on the day. She was an avid supporter of all school sports and was a very proud participant in the Race of Champions in 4th Class. The members of Cumann na mBunscol were very moved when they saw how she was honoured by the Springdale team on the day, so much so that they made the headline on their http://Flickr Link
Their behaviour was excellent throughout the day and their team spirit was second to none. Well done to all our athletes!
