Since hosting their first coffee morning last Friday, 6th Class continued their journey to giving a helping hand today.

Having raised €500 in aid of Helping Hands, Edenmore, 6th Class and Ms. Jacob went online and shopped for some nonperishable groceries. These were delivered to school yesterday afternoon and loaded up by 6th Class today for delivery to Edenmore.

When they arrived at the Helping Hands depot, 6th Class were met by Teresa and Clodagh who put them to work stocking the shelves. Teresa and Clodagh of Helping Hands were delighted with the Springdale contribution and were already making plans before we left on how they could put the food to the best use.

Well done to 6th Class for their wonderful work and thank you to everyone who supported their first coffee morning.
