Last week, we celebrated Bike Week 2026 in school. During assembly, 5th Class spoke about the many benefits of cycling and shared important tips on how to stay safe while out and about on bikes.

As part of Bike Week 2026, we took part in COW Day (Cycle on Wednesday), an initiative promoted by Green-Schools. The response was very encouraging, with just over 100 children cycling or scooting to school on Wednesday, 13th May.

A big thank you to Faye, who counted all of our cyclists as they arrived at school. It was certainly difficult to find a parking space in the bike shelter that morning!
